Varicose veins are a common problem, affecting up to 1 in 3 adults in their lifetime. They are usually a sign of an underlying venous insufficiency.
Thread veins can appear anywhere on the body but are mostly evidenced on the legs and face. They are more common than varicose veins, affecting up to 80% of adults.
Leg ulcers appear as broken skin in the lower leg or feet. We have been successfully treating venous leg ulcers for over 20 years.

Debbie worked in the NHS for 19 years and started when she was 20 years old as a Medical Receptionist, progressing to Assistant Practice Manager at the Karis Medical Centre in Edgbaston. After working there for 13 years, Debbie left to have a baby who is not such a baby anymore as she is twenty years old!
More recently, she worked at Sherwood House Medical Practice in Bearwood as a Receptionist/Administrator.
She has two dogs, a toy poodle, Chalky and a bichon frise, Chico. Chalky believes she is a ‘princess’ as she was her mum’s dog and she spoilt her rotten. Sadly her mum passed away two years ago so she then became a part of the family. They are both living their best lives and call them both “Lady and The Tramp”!
Debbie especially loves going out for afternoon tea/prosecco with family and friends as well as going out to restaurants for Indian, Chinese or Italian.
One of her favourite things to do is shopping as a girl can never have too many shoes and handbags!
