    Caroline Camplin

    Receptionist

    Veincentre Cardiff

    Profile

Caroline joined the Veincentre team in January 2021 having previously worked in a manufacturing environment for the previous sixteen years as an Ergonomics Customer Account Manager.  However, many years prior to this, she had originally qualified as a Medical Secretary having achieved a Diploma from the Association of Medical Secretaries.

Over the years she has held a variety of jobs, however, was only able to put her qualifications to good use within the NHS for a two-year period and this was due mainly to the fact that her husband was as a member of HM forces and a career soldier for the whole of his 22 years of service.  This involved him traveling extensively and, as a family, moving fairly frequently to be with him. They lived in 10 different locations during that time, including 11 of those years overseas.  Career opportunities for Caroline were at a premium, as civilian positions on the various bases were in short supply and, it was only after returning to the UK in 1999, that they had the opportunity to settle near family and friends and “put down roots” both in terms of a home, professional and educationally, something they all wanted very much.

Caroline’s children are now much older and happy in their personal and professional lives and thanks to her son and his partner, in a few short weeks, will become a grandmother to a little girl, likely to be called Ffion.  She is naturally excited about their first grandchild and, when the opportunity prevails, they like to travel, spend time with the family as well as with their four-legged boys, both tri colour Cocker Spaniels, named Chester & Charlie.  They also love the theatre and eating out as often as they can.
