Thread veins can appear anywhere on the body but are mostly evidenced on the legs and face. They are more common than varicose veins, affecting up to 80% of adults.

Yvonne Joined Veincentre in October 2019 having worked for many years as Senior Medical Secretary within a private hospital group, having responsibility for several consultants, covering a wide range of clinical specialities, and leading a team of medical secretaries.
She completed her AMSPAR Advanced Diploma for Medical Secretaries and Practice Managers in 2008 and went on to complete a CMI Management qualification in 2013.
Yvonne also possesses hidden talents, as she previously had a career as a dance teacher, having taken dance classes since the age of 3. On leaving high school she attended Drama School, where she gained her teaching qualifications and British Actors Equity card. She then returned home to Staffordshire to teach ballet, tap and jazz classes to children locally. Although Yvonne no longer teaches dance, we know that she keeps her dancing shoes close by, just in case she gets that call from Anton Du Beke!
