Dr Susie Goodwin works as a Consultant Radiologist based at the Royal Hospital for Children in Glasgow where she leads the interventional radiology service. After graduating from the University of Aberdeen Susie trained in surgery (passing Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2006), then completed radiology training in the West of Scotland (becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2010). Following this, she obtained specialist training during her fellowship in diagnostic and interventional radiology at Great Ormond Street Hospital. Susie has worked as a consultant since 2013 and performs procedures including sclerotherapy for vascular malformations and vascular access, including interventional procedures for small babies. She leads audit and quality improvement work in her department and is the Royal College of Radiologists departmental audit lead. Susie enjoys travelling to national and international conferences to keep up to date, and regularly contributes as an author and reviewer of journal articles.
When not working, Susie enjoys cycling and hillwalking, art & literature, learning French, and her Australian labradoodle Maggi.

It is also important to note that your initial treatment and future appointments will be with Dr Goodwin on a Friday.
During our busy periods, Dr Goodwin may open up a list on another day, however, we cannot guarantee appointment dates on any other day than a Friday.
