Please let us know when you might be looking for treatment:

Is there a limit on how many veins you treat in each leg?

Is there a limit on how many veins you treat in each leg?

There is no limit to the ablation of superficial veins but occasionally it may be necessary to undertake treatment over two visits rather than them all being treated in one visit on the same day. The reason for this is due to a limit on the amount of local anaesthetic that can be safely used at one visit. It is very, very rare for EVLA to be performed on two separate occasions. It only applies if the total length of the veins that require laser treatment is extensive. You will be advised of this at time of consultation.

Unfortunately, if you are one of the unlucky ones and laser treatment needs to be performed on two separate occasions, you will need to pay Unilateral EVLA twice (e.g. £1,800 for each visit rather than the Bilateral EVLA cost of £2,300, or in London £2,000 twice rather than the Bilateral EVLA cost of £2,500).
