You may find that you get varicose veins developing on the vulva. This is quite a common problem during pregnancy. It is due to a slightly different anatomical problem: it’s the veins inside the pelvis and draining the ovaries that cause the veins on the vulva to develop. They tend to get better after you’ve delivered your baby, but there will be a higher chance that the veins will come back again in that position at some later stage.
