COVID update February 2022

Despite relaxation of national covid rules, please note that the following measures still apply to ALL patients visiting Veincentre. Due to the nature of our service, social distancing is not possible during our appointments. Our staff see vulnerable patients both at Veincentre and within their NHS practices, so it is paramount that we do all we can to ensure the safety of both our patients, our staff and patients in other clinics.

In order to attend an appointment the following is required:

• You need to take a lateral flow test (LFT) within 24 hours of your appointment. You must only attend if negative. You may be asked for proof of the results on arrival at the clinic.
• You need to wear a surgical type 2R face mask at all times whilst in the clinic. If you are unable to wear a mask, you must inform us prior to attending.
• If you test positive for Covid, you must wait 2 weeks from a negative lateral flow test before undergoing treatment.
• Please do not attend the clinic more than 10 minutes prior to your appointment. You may be asked to wait outside the clinic until is it safe to enter (e.g. social distancing can be maintained in the reception).
• Your forehead temperature will be checked on arrival. If your temperature is high, or you show any other symptoms of Covid-19 we will need to reschedule your appointment.
